Our core beliefs in short

More detailed doctrine that are being taught in GBCC are found in the “Detailed overview over the doctrines we teach” in the church documents.

• We believe the Bible with its 66 books is the inspired authoritative Word of God.
• We believe in the triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• We believe in the sinfulness of man and his need for salvation.
• We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ and His redemptive work for our salvation (His death, burial, resurrection, ascension and second coming).
• We believe Satan is real and is at war with God and His followers.
• We believe in a literal heaven and literal hell as the eternal dwelling places of the saved and unsaved.
• We believe in the resurrection of the dead with physical bodies.
• We believe in the spiritual gifts given by the Holy Spirit to every believer for the benefit of the local church.
• We believe in our responsibility as a local church to make disciples of all nations, to hold fast to the faith, and to separate from sin so that we will be a spotless bride for Christ.
• We believe in marriage as a union for life founded by God only for one man and one woman.
